Der Begriff „Tiefenstaat“ ist schillernd und reich an Anspielungen. Man denkt dabei an „dunkle Mächte“ und Verschwörungen – großes Kino jedenfalls, voller Intrigen und finsterer Hintermänner. Doch der Tiefenstaat ist gerade kein platter „Club der Weltverschwörer“, der überall und jederzeit sämtliche Fäden zieht. – Ein Auszug aus dem 2018 erschienenen Buch „Die Angst der Eliten – Wer fürchtet die Demokratie?“
